We attended a large extension project in West Yorkshire to lift six steel beams into place with our spider crane.
Starting at the front of the property we set up the crane on the driveway to lift the first support beams into place. With rain forecast we also set up our gazebo until the weather passed. When the front beams were fixed in place we moved the crane to the rear, where we set up the crane again inside the extension. Here there was space to expand the outriggers fully. This allowed the heavy six meter steels to be lifted safely into place. The steel clamp was used here to adjust the steels for a perfect fit.

Spider cranes are very compact and versatile making them ideal for lifting steel beams.
We attended a property in Leeds which was undergoing a large extension project, to lift a few heavy steels into place. Setting the crane up inside the boundary walls gave us plenty of reach to safely lift these beams into place with the highest precision. This is a very efficient and cost effective way of lifting heavy beams in confined spaces where access is limited for larger more expensive cranes cannot get to! |
